General

The cottage is just under 100 square meters with a mezzanine master bedroom and open plan living. It is set among the vines of Charles Reuben Estate. The quiet and secluded position in the country with full kitchen, wood heater and spa insure relaxing and enjoyment at its best.

Where we are

From Hobart or the airport find your way to the Tasman highway (A3). Take the turn off Cambridge / Richmond. In Cambridge turn onto the B31 to Richmond. Just before entering Richmond (after Pooley's Wine) take the first turn off to the left and immediately left again, signposted to Tea Tree (C322). Follow this road (Middle Tea Tree Road) for 7.7 km. Charles Reuben Estate is on the left number 777 with a sign in the drive way. We are after ZooDo just before the road starts to climb again.

From Launceston and the north of Tasmania you come down the Midland Highway. Exit at the Tea Tree, Brighton, (Richmond) turn off (following the roundabout after Mangalore). Turn left at the end of the exit onto Tea Tree Road. Follow Tea Tree Road east for 5.5 km. Turn right at the intersection with Middle Tea Tree Road (small white chapel at the corner. Don't confuse it with Back Tea Tree Road earlier!). After about 1.6 km on Middle Tea Tree Road (from the north) you will see our driveway on the right with a sign "Charles Reuben Estate" 

Children

We offer a porta-cot, fire screen, stair gate, individual electric heaters.  We have plans for a swing set and sand pit and there are also 2 wildlife parks nearby. Three pools can be reached within a 25 - 30 minute drive.

Business

There is wireless internet available in the Pinot Cottage. For those who want to get away from all the radio waves and electromagnetic noise the connection is switch-able so you can fully turn it off any time you like.

Other

We are a working vineyard. The position of the cottage is quite and secluded though. We will make every effort to make your stay quiet, relaxing and enjoyable and we will never use chemicals while we have guests! We are environmentally conscious and use chemicals as sparingly as possible before eventually going organic.

Charles Reuben Estate vineyard is producing fine wine of high quality in a small family business.

Now that our accommodation place is up and running we are concentrating on the vineyard with vine and soil health, irrigation and most of all quality constantly on our mind. Plans are now in the making to improve the vineyard's infrastructure during winter and increase production.

We will be updating here on the vineyard's progress. Our cellar door is open by appointment and wine can be ordered by telephone, in writing or in our online shop.
